About the role
RBCI is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing IT services and solutions to commercial businesses, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies. We seek experienced Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) to support the life-cycle management, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of both medical and non-medical support equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for medical and non-medical equipment per applicable directives, manufacturer guidelines, and customer requirements.
- Oversee diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of equipment while ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines, directives, and safety standards.
- Manage medical equipment lifecycle, maintenance scheduling, safety compliance, and equipment replacement budget forecasting.
- Manage, track and report equipment, work orders, and maintenance activities in Medical Materiel Information Systems (e.g., DMLSS, LogiCole, TEWLS).
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have graduated from The DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course.
- Skilled in advanced troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs for medical and auxiliary support devices such as oxygen generation units, environmental control systems, imaging technology, and life support equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple personnel, teams, and priorities.
- Expertise in managing medical equipment lifecycle, maintenance scheduling, safety compliance, and equipment replacement budget forecasting.
- Proficient in Medical Materiel Information Systems (e.g., DMLSS, LogiCole, TEWLS)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
