About the role
Performs in-house servicing, maintenance, and repair of company products at an established repair site or service center. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures and technical documentation. Performs maintenance, testing, and calibration of repaired products to ensure proper operation and serviceability.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues
- Replace and fit components
- Perform functional tests
- Make necessary adjustments
- Document repair activities
- Communicate with field-based technicians to gather information helpful to failure diagnostics or repair (limited direct client contact)
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical, technical, maintenance, or repair environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing equipment failures using established procedures
- Knowledge of hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform maintenance, testing, and repairs on equipment
- Ability to follow technical diagrams, manuals, and established procedures
- High school diploma or Associate degree
Preferred Skills
- Military technical or maintenance experience
- Aviation Technician experience
- Medical equipment engineering or servicing experience
- Automotive mechanic experience
- Experience with equipment calibration and testing
- Experience documenting repairs, testing, and equipment serviceability
- Experience diagnosing hardware, software, and systems-related failures
- Experience working with laboratory, medical, diagnostic, or other instrumentation
Pay
$25/hour
