Biomedical Equip Technician Associate Parkview

Summary

Maintains assigned basic medical equipment and support systems. Responds to basic support requests. Interviews customers to determine nature and scope of issues, diagnoses, resolves, and closes basic medical equipment issues according to service level guidelines. Performs routine safety checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on basic medical equipment and support systems. Demonstrates understanding of customer service policies and procedures, continuously develops technical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic support requests.
• Interviews customer to determine nature and scope of the customer's issue, and the appropriate response.
• Diagnostics, resolves and closes basic medical equipment issues according to service level guidelines.
• Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
• Performs routine safety checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on basic medical equipment and support systems.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year of related experience.

Pay

$23.07 - $34.60 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
