Position Summary

SAET is seeking a highly qualified Course Content Creator (Contingent) to develop the complete instructional materials for BMET 231: Medical Networks, Data Security, and Privacy.

Essential Functions

  • Design comprehensive undergraduate modules bridging healthcare critical infrastructure, networking protocols, medical device interoperability, and cybersecurity countermeasures.
  • Build rigorous lecture assets, case studies, and practical lab exercises that require a rare blend of medical technology expertise and cybersecurity knowledge.

Pre-Requisite Qualifications

  • M.S. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related engineering field (Ph.D. strongly preferred).
  • Deep technical understanding of both medical technology and core cybersecurity principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development or instructional design in an academia, industry, or government setting.

Compensation

Hourly: $40.00

Additional Information

  • The education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
  • This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, or other items.
