About the role

Responsible for administering the daily operations of the assigned clinical engineering shop and providing repair, calibration and maintenance services to medical treatment and diagnostic equipment.

To provide BayCare with properly functioning equipment necessary to complete its charge of being a healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Administer the daily operations of the assigned clinical engineering shop.
• Provide repair, calibration and maintenance services to medical treatment and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to support BayCare's mission as a healthcare provider.
• Perform tasks alone or with minimal supervision, consistent with BayCare's values and mission.

Requirements

• 4 years - Biomedical Maintenance;
• OR 4 years - Electronics;
• OR 10 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program;
• Technical - Electronics;
• OR Technical - Biomedical;
• Preferred Associates - Related Field;
• Preferred Bachelors - Related Field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Biomedical Maintenance experience.
• OR Minimum 4 years of Electronics experience.
• OR 10 years of related experience in lieu of formal training.

Skills

• Knowledge of medical equipment and systems.
• Ability to perform repairs, calibrations, and maintenance tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
