About the role

As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. You will become part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth. This role primarily covers the Henderson, NV area and includes on-call pay and mileage reimbursement.

DaVita is seeking a Biomedical Services Specialist to ensure our life-saving dialysis treatments remain operational every day in our clinics. If you enjoy repairing machines, troubleshooting, and working in a demanding yet rewarding environment, this role could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and service dialysis machines to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations.
  • Respond to on-call requests to address urgent clinic needs, including after-hours emergencies.
  • Travel between clinics and hospitals in the Henderson, NV area to provide emergency response coverage.
  • Communicate openly and frequently with teammates and clinic staff.
  • Utilize MS Office applications, the internet, and DaVita-specific tools for documentation and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (GED) – accredited HSD or GED required at time of onboarding.
  • Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record (required for travel between clinics).
  • Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the Henderson, NV area to ensure timely emergency response.
  • Availability for on-call rotations as needed to meet clinic demands.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude, experience with repairs, and strong electronics knowledge (preferred but not required – training and certification will be provided).
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
  • Tech-savvy with ease in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a commitment to open and honest collaboration.
