Skill in modifying lessons and lab procedures to support English Language Learners (ELL), students with IEPs/504 plans, and advanced learners (e.g., AP/IB Biology students). Ability to guide students in formulating testable hypotheses, conducting experiments, analyzing quantitative biological data, and evaluating peer-reviewed scientific claims. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong commitment to enforcing biosafety regulations and building positive relationships with students and families. Sensitivity and responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds, fostering an inclusive classroom that respects multiple perspectives.
