Biology Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for biology experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models developed by the world's leading research labs. Your scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex biological concepts — from cell biology to molecular genetics and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Design challenging, advanced biology questions to rigorously test AI performance
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions grounded in sound scientific reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
• Identify gaps or errors in AI outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level biology topics
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong grasp of advanced biological concepts and scientific problem-solving
• Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
• Background in research, academic writing, or scientific publishing
