Biology Researcher (PhD) | $90/hr Remote

About the role

Biology Expert contract position, remote, with compensation of $80‑$90 per hour and a commitment of 10‑40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on biology-related data, prompts, or content utilized in AI development.
• Create, review, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, or explanations representative of real-world biological problems.
• Offer expert-level insights to ensure accuracy, relevance, and depth in AI training datasets and outputs.
• Collaborate with platform teams to clarify ambiguous queries and enhance data quality or coverage related to biological subjects.
• Document findings, methodologies, and rationales to support transparency and reproducibility in project deliverables.
• Participate in iterative review cycles, contributing to continuous improvements of the AI model's capabilities in biology.

Requirements

• PhD in biology or a closely related life science discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in core biological concepts and the ability to contextualize complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear articulation of feedback and scientific reasoning.
• Experience with scientific data analysis, critical evaluation of information, and synthesis of complex subject matter.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deliverables within defined project frameworks.
• Prior contributions to interdisciplinary projects or scientific collaborations.
