Biology Program Support Member - Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge

About the role

The Biology Program Support Member at Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge is responsible for providing administrative support to the program staff. This includes managing files, coordinating meetings, and assisting with research projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize files related to the biology program
• Coordinate meetings between program staff and external partners
• Aid in the preparation and organization of research data
• Assist with the development and implementation of conservation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (biology, environmental science, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wildlife biology and conservation practices
• Basic understanding of GIS and remote sensing technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay

Schedule

• Full-time position
