Computational Biology & Bioinformatics Expert (PhD) Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote – Worldwide Job Summary We are seeking experienced computational biology and bioinformatics experts to support an AI training project focused on biological data analysis, scientific workflows, and AI model evaluation. Required Skills Bioinformatics and Computational BiologyGenomics, Transcriptomics, and ProteomicsPython and/or R ProgrammingNGS, RNA-seq, and Variant AnalysisBLAST, Samtools, GATK, and BiopythonNextflow, Snakemake, and LinuxStatistical Analysis and Scientific ReasoningTechnical Documentation and Communication Responsibilities Design and evaluate bioinformatics workflows.Analyze genomic and biological datasets.Optimize pipelines and statistical methods.Support AI model benchmarking and validation.Develop reproducible workflows and document findings.Provide scientific insights and actionable recommendations. Qualifications PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field, or equivalent industry/research experience.Hands-on experience analyzing biological data.Strong Python/R programming and analytical skills.Professional English proficiency (C1 or higher).Experience with AI/ML-assisted biology, structural biology, or drug discovery is preferred.
