Biologics Formulation Scientist

Job Responsibilities

• Execute protein-based developability and stability workflows, including formulation at high concentrations, viscometry, size exclusion chromatography, and assays for thermal and colloidal stability
• Execute workflows using automated high-throughput systems
• Independently support ongoing studies and high-level activities
• Apply scientific ownership and critical thinking to evaluate workflows and proactively communicate observations, risks, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline, 2+ years of hands-on industry or research lab experience
• PREFERRED Qualifications: Experience with buffer prep, high concentration antibody formulation via UFDF or TFF, protein handling, and assay execution; Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills; Experience with stability assays, including thermal or colloidal stability assessments; Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as SEC, HPLC, viscometry, rheology, DLS, DSC, DSF, or other related biophysical/analytical platforms; Knowledge of protein chemistry and degradation; Good time management and multi-tasking skills; Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work within a cross-functional team; Experience working in a method development or non-GMP development environment; Exposure to automation or high-throughput workflows a plus
