About the role
The Biology Department of the School of Sciences and Health Professions at Simmons University is seeking applicants for an adjunct instructor position in the Biology Department to teach Biol 332-01 in person, to begin September 2, 2026 and end December 19, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lecturing and leading in class discussions on both Tuesdays and Thursdays: BIOL 332-01 - T/Th 11:00AM - 12:20PM
- Assessment of student understanding of material through multiple modes which include, but are not limited to, exams, quizzes, assignment such as worksheets and group projects.
- Classes start September 2, 2026 and end December 14, 2026 with final exams December 16-19, 2026.
- Grades are due on January 4, 2027 at 10:00AM.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree
- Experience teaching Biology courses
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Exercise Physiology or Anatomy & Physiology
