Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide sample preparation and data acquisition support to members in the Bio-NMR group.
- Prepare buffers, solvents, and samples with rigorous attention to purity, pH, and concentration specifications.
- Help to maintain and operate our two NMR spectrometers, including 600 and 700 MHz Bruker systems.
- Absorb and operate nephelometer, ITC, and other bioanalytical instruments.
- Cook up laboratory housekeeping: inventory control of consumables, order supplies, and ensure chemical hygiene compliance to maintain a productive, organized lab environment.
- Manage compound/protein receiving and delivery into the laboratory for testing.
- Work within our quality system to maintain accurate records of all experimental details and results.
- Oversee laboratory housekeeping: inventory control of consumables, order supplies, and ensure chemical hygiene compliance to maintain a productive, organized lab environment.
- Coordinate ordering and restocking of laboratory consumables and reagents as needed.
- Follows the guidelines set forth in by clients and the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Report safety, instrument and technical issues to the appropriate contacts.

- Familiar with fluorescence, luminescence, and mass spectrometry-based assay

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry or closely related field
- Minimum of 1 year(s) of related experience
- NMR experience a plus
