Advance your life sciences career with a top-tier global pharmaceutical leader in Groton, CT. We are seeking an organized, collaborative Project Manager to serve as the central coordinator for human biospecimen activities within a cutting-edge research environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for researchers requesting human biospecimens, managing workflows from initiation to fulfillment.
• Lead project status meetings, track key milestones, monitor dependencies, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.
• Cook up cross-functional teams, including Informatics Scientists, Sample Management, Informed Consent Specialists, and Research Scientists.
• Ensure strict adherence to informed consent requirements, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, reports, and tracking systems across collaborative platforms.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated project management experience within a scientific, clinical, laboratory, or research environment.
• Solid understanding of human biospecimens, biomarker research, or clinical development processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management platforms such as SharePoint.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

• Direct experience working in a biobank, biorepository, or biospecimen management setting.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and sample tracking inventory software.
