Job Summary
Advance your life sciences career with a top-tier global pharmaceutical leader in Groton, CT. We are seeking an organized, collaborative Project Manager to serve as the central coordinator for human biospecimen activities within a cutting-edge research environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for researchers requesting human biospecimens, managing workflows from initiation to fulfillment.
- Lead project status meetings, track key milestones, monitor dependencies, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.
- Cook up cross-functional teams, including Informatics Scientists, Sample Management, Informed Consent Specialists, and Research Scientists.
- Ensure strict adherence to informed consent requirements, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, reports, and tracking systems across collaborative platforms.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated project management experience within a scientific, clinical, laboratory, or research environment.
- Solid understanding of human biospecimens, biomarker research, or clinical development processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management platforms such as SharePoint.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred
- Direct experience working in a biobank, biorepository, or biospecimen management setting.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and sample tracking inventory software.
