Bioanalytical Scientist

About the Role

Execute analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory. This is a 100% on-site position in New Brunswick, NJ. Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm (1 hr lunch).

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical assays in a biologics industry laboratory.
• Apply proficiency in diverse analytical techniques along with basic biochemistry laboratory techniques.
• Demonstrate experience with ELISA, cell-based assays, cell culture, qPCR, and ddPCR techniques.
• Execute methods to determine potency, measure biological activity and/or process-related impurities.
• Perform work in GxP laboratory execution.
• Maintain computer competency with emphasis on spreadsheet-based software.
• Adhere to strict guidelines when applicable.
• Document and review data as per established company guidelines and SOPs and maintain laboratory notebook and record keeping under GxP compliance and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Required – Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related Science major.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum 2–4 years of analytical experience or M.S. degree.
• Large molecule experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Computer competency is essential with emphasis on spreadsheet-based software.
