Bin Wash Pallet Jack Operator 1st Shift

About the Role

The Bin Wash Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for moving all palletized products to designated areas before shipment to customers. This role ensures product availability on the production floor, communicates potential slowdowns to supervisors, and may assist in staging and loading Bell and Evans products for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisors to keep product on the floor for production needs.
• Prepare pallets for handling items appropriately and create combo bins.
• Perform pre-checks of the pallet jack to ensure proper working order.
• Utilize safe practice habits when operating the pallet jack.
• Proactively address safety or quality concerns to ensure safe, high-quality products.
• Consume and containerize labels for product to ensure accurate inventory.
• Assist in staging and loading products in preparation for shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6–12 months of previous experience operating a pallet jack is preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly.
• 6 months of work history in the last 12 months required.
• Strong communication skills with supervisors and team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
