BIM VDC Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a VDC/BIM professional who thrives in the world of piping and fabrication. If you enjoy solving constructability challenges, coordinating with field and fabrication teams, and creating models that actually get built, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed piping and mechanical fabrication models (LOD 400).
- Produce shop, spool, hanger, and sleeve drawings.
- Coordinate with multiple trades and lead clash-resolution efforts.
- Partner with fabrication shops and field teams to support project execution.
- Participate in coordination meetings and assist with constructability reviews.
Requirements
- Experience in piping, mechanical, or plumbing detailing/VDC.
- Understanding of the process of installing and constructing pipe prefabrications.
- Revit and Navisworks experience.
- Previous experience with a mechanical contractor, piping contractor, or fabrication shop.
- Understanding of fabrication workflows, spooling, hangers, sleeves, and field installation.
We're especially interested in candidates who came from the trades, fabrication, or construction side of the business and transitioned into BIM/VDC. Someone who understands how piping systems are built, not just how they're modeled.

- Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage
- 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available
- Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)
