BIM Specialist (On-site)

About the Role

This position maintains BIM/CAD standards for the organization and provides general support for BIM/CAD implementation to meet project and sustainment needs. You will work directly with IT on computer-related issues. This role can be located in Orlando, FL or Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Support staff with a positive attitude, passion, and patience.
• Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit Architecture/Engineering and AutoCAD.
• Research other BIM/CAD-related software and how they integrate with Revit.
• Implement, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, templates, and support.
• Work with programmers to automate routines in BIM/CAD to support standards for increased productivity and consistency.
• Assist in creating upgrade and deployment strategies for BIM/CAD implementation.
• Support BIM/CAD needs across all offices.
• Troubleshoot BIM/CAD problems.
• Work with the IT Department to address Helpdesk Tickets related to BIM/CAD.
• Represent the firm with professionalism, presentation, and behavior.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production experience in design and drafting (architectural/engineering).
• Revit model management, administration, and maintenance skills.
• AutoCAD maintenance skills to increase efficiency.
• 1+ years of experience in BIM/360/ACC.
• Dynamo experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
• Exceptional work ethic and commitment to upholding company values.
• Self-starter with a drive to pursue continued education in BIM/CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Work in a normal office environment; occasional work outside of a normal office may be required.
