About the role

A BIM Project Specialist, you will support the design, coordination, and execution of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes specifically for structural detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination. This role translates engineering concepts into accurate, constructible models and drawings using Revit and related BIM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and revise structural BIM models in Autodesk Revit for a variety of project types.
  • Ensure that all models comply with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Produce structural drawings, details, and schedules in support of design and construction documentation.
  • Assist structural engineers with model setup, modeling standards, and drawing production.
  • Cook up structural models with architectural, MEP, and other discipline models to identify and resolve clashes.
  • Coordinate with project teams during design development, permitting, and construction phases as needed.
  • Implement and adhere to company BIM standards, templates, and workflows.

  • Standards and Quality Control: Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans (BEP), managing project-specific BIM standards for structural systems. Perform regular quality control checks on models to maintain accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Knowledge of EUA Standards: Ensure all structural models adhere to EUA’s internal standards and best practices, maintaining consistency, sustainability, and accuracy across all projects.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical support to engineers and designers on Revit and BIM processes related to structural systems. Conduct training sessions on best practices and advanced features in Revit.
  • Data Management: Manage and organize all structural data within the BIM model, ensuring accurate data exchange between different teams and disciplines.

Requirements

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
