🚨 BIM MODELER - MECHANICAL / PLUMBING 🚨

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler with strong experience in mechanical/plumbing systems, Revit MEP, and coordination-driven construction environments. This role is ideal for someone who understands constructibility—not just design intent. Relocation assistance is available and there is an immediate need for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, fabrication-level BIM models for plumbing, hydronic piping, and wet-side HVAC systems
• Produce coordinated shop drawings ready for field installation
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
• Set up projects from scratch, including grids, levels, worksets, views, and sheets
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to resolve coordination issues
• Participate in multi-trade coordination meetings and provide constructible solutions
• Maintain QA/QC standards throughout modeling and documentation phases

Requirements

• 3+ years of BIM modeling experience within mechanical/plumbing construction
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (family creation, templates, advanced tools)
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
• Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows
• Understanding of mechanical systems, including plumbing, hydronic piping, pumps, valves, and fixtures
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Experience creating fabrication/shop-level drawings strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical drafting/engineering education background
• Autodesk certifications
• AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience
