Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modeling in the commercial electrical industry.
• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including design and construction processes.
• Experience in the design and construction of commercial buildings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed BIM (Building Information Modeling) electrical models and drawings for a variety of commercial projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that the electrical design aligns with project specifications and standards.
• Use BIM software to create 3D models of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power systems.
• Review and update models and drawings to reflect design changes and improvements.
• Cookordinate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into the overall project design.
• Perform clash detection and assist in problem-solving during the design and construction phases.
• Assist in the development of BIM standards and workflows within the organization.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding BIM and AutoCAD 3D.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates and feedback on the electrical design and modeling.
