About the Role
The 3D BIM Modeler will play a critical role in supporting project planning, coordination, and field execution through the development of accurate and detailed building information models. This position works closely with project teams to ensure models are aligned with project requirements and construction objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed 3D BIM models for commercial concrete construction projects.
- Create models relating to concrete placement, reinforcement, formwork, and construction sequencing.
- Produce BIM-related drawings, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project information.
- Perform clash detection and assist in resolving design and coordination issues.
- Support project visualization, constructability reviews, and planning efforts.
- Ensure adherence to project standards, modeling protocols, and company best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance regarding BIM software and workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with BIM software such as Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of commercial concrete construction methods and structural systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Pay
Base Salary: $70,000 - $95,000, depending on experience.
