Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models, ensuring they are accurate and up to date throughout the project life cycle.
- Collaborate with technical and design teams to develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings and facilitate resolution of complex design and coordination issues.
- Provide hands-on support for BIM software suite, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Manage and oversee the creation and maintenance of the enterprise digital design library, including families, templates, and Dynamo scripts.
- Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
- Interface directly with clients to define BIM deliverables, ensuring projects are executed in compliance with agreed-upon BIM protocols.
- Promote continuous improvement by leveraging analytics to derive insights from project metrics.
- Train and mentor project teams in BIM best practices through both informal and formal learning sessions.
- Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending tools and methodologies to further advance our BIM capabilities.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher education
- 10+ years of AEC industry experience with a strong focus on BIM for engineering design
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and ACC platform
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- Demonstrated passion for mentoring junior staff and leading a team of specialists
Preferred But Not Required
- Experience with OpenBuildings Designer Worksuite
- Professional Certification in BIM Management
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and estimating practices
- BIM management experience leading large-scale Water/Wastewater facility improvement projects
Pay
Compensation Range: $104,402.58 - $119,317.24
