BIM Manager
About the role
The BIM Manager is responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of BIM and digital engineering activities across infrastructure projects, spanning both design and construction stages. The role ensures that multi-disciplinary models, data, and associated deliverables are aligned to defined project requirements, structured information references, and governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination across civil, water, power, and utilities disciplines through both design and construction stages
- Manage federated models and coordination workflows, including clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution across teams
- Ensure alignment between design development, construction sequencing, and delivery outputs across all project stages
- Support design-stage coordination, ensuring integration of disciplines and alignment with defined requirements and standards
- Support construction-stage delivery, including:
- Construction sequencing and phasing coordination
- Design integration with site conditions and contractor inputs
- Tracking and resolution of RFIs, design changes, and field issues
- Review and interpret structured project references (e.g., information requirements, governance pages, project notebooks) and ensure outputs align with defined scope and expectations
- Apply defined information requirements as the baseline and support their practical implementation and update where required through project delivery
- Cookordination with information management and delivery teams to ensure consistency between models, data, and documentation
- Ensure outputs align with governance structures, roles, and responsibilities defined within the project (RACI)
- Contribute to consistent and repeatable delivery practices across projects
