BIM Engineer (Entry Level)

Role Overview

This position sits at the intersection of design, coordination, and project delivery. You will be responsible for developing and managing models, producing drawing packages, and coordinating across internal and external teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models across multiple projects
  • Work closely with engineers on delegated design elements
  • Produce and manage full drawing and documentation packages
  • Coverage models with external consultants and client teams
  • Support clash detection and coordination workflows
  • Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and model accuracy
  • Aid in balancing speed of delivery with quality and process

Project Exposure

  • Industrial projects with major clients, including automotive-related work
  • Luxury residential projects, including some forensic inspection-related work
  • High-quality project portfolio with a premium positioning in the market

Technical Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in BIM, VDC, or related role
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Experience with model coordination and drawing production
  • Familiarity working with models from external stakeholders
  • Understanding of structural or building systems is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and fast-paced deliverables

Technical Highlights

  • Software: Revit (required), Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC (preferred)
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field
  • Certifications: Autodesk certifications are a plus, but not required
