BIM Designer - Electrical

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Designer to join a well-established electrical contractor in Kansas City. This role will focus on developing and coordinating detailed electrical BIM models for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
• Coordinate electrical systems with other MEP trades
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Work closely with project managers, field teams, engineers, and subcontractors
• Support constructability and resolve coordination issues before installation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM design/modeling experience within electrical contracting
• Strong proficiency with Revit and Navisworks
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Pay

$70,000+ depending on experience
