BIM Coordinator

About the role

The Bell Company is a large employee-owned Mechanical Contractor based in Rochester, NY, with initial assignments also located in Rochester. The rate of pay for the Mechanical BIM Coordinator role is $55-90K/year.

Responsibilities

• Use skills to work on hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial projects.
• Create CAD generated mechanical layouts using project specifications.
• Develop fabrication and spool drawings for fabricators and field use, as well as overall project coordination drawings.
• Handle equipment typical for Mechanical, HVAC, Process Systems, and Advanced Plumbing Systems.
• Resolve mechanical conflicts and create coordination drawings in 3D.
• Manage 3 disciplines of experience in Sheetmetal, Piping, and Plumbing, with 3-5 years of experience required.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading a coordination effort and hands-on experience in the Mechanical trades.
• Experience with REVIT, SYSQue, and Navisworks AutoCAD.
• Field and 3D coordination experience, including creation of 3D drawings for mechanical systems.
• Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company.
• Demonstrate a stable work history and be able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Pay

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
