BIM & CAD Drafter

About the role

The BIM & CAD Drafter will create and maintain detailed technical drawings and BIM models under the guidance of a Designer or Senior Design Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update technical drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, single-line diagrams, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Cook up with project teams to integrate audiovisual, ICT, and SSA elements into comprehensive BIM models.
• Review design documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Prepare deliverable documents to the PSX standard level of detail.
• Maintain project documentation and manage drawing revisions throughout the design and construction process.
• Aid with clash detection and coordination within BIM environments to support efficient project outcomes.
• Support designers and engineers with drafting, modeling, and documentation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM/CAD software.
• A strong understanding of construction documentation and architectural principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• A high attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with BIM coordination is preferred.
