Requirements

• Answering phones
• Absorb with scheduling patients
• Processing insurance verifications/authorizations
• Ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
• Follow up on outstanding claims and denials
• Maintain billing records and documentation
• Collaborate with medical staff to clarify billing information
• Utilize medical billing software and systems effectively

Experience Required

• Previous experience in medical billing, coding, or collections
• Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG coding systems
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
