Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create, maintain, and manage client accounts and billing records.
- Investigate and reconcile account discrepancies and billing issues.
- Cookorate with service, project, and accounting departments to ensure the accuracy of billing information.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Resolve billing concerns and follow up on outstanding issues to completion.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to billing activities.
- Aid with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and established billing procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, billing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
- Ability to efficiently multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with accounting or ERP software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the construction, service, or HVAC industry is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and coworkers.
