Billing & Rating Analyst

About the role

Dircks is a fast-growing Moving & Logistics company in Arizona. This position is within the Accounting Department and plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing and ratings for local and interstate shipments.

Responsibilities

• Accesses files in CRM such as bills of lading, weight tickets, estimates, addendums, and inventories.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments in storage.
• Sets up storage accounts including insurance, valuation, invoicing, and billing.
• Billing includes office and industrial, local, intrastate, third-party, and other types of services.
• Audits and verifies third-party invoices.
• Calculates and enters revenue into accounting systems.
• Creates and audits invoices for accuracy.
• Creates credit memos for incorrect billing.
• Posts transactions to appropriate job/customer accounts.
• Participates in payroll processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of administrative duties.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Great Planes, and Movers Suite.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 25 pounds.
• Must regularly use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment is usually moderate in noise level.
