About the role
This U.S. remote position supports Labcorp’s mission to improve health and lives through accurate billing and customer service. The role involves data entry, verification, and communication to resolve billing issues, ensuring timely and accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform billing data entry with strong 10-key proficiency.
- Compare data with source documents and enter billing information accurately.
- Research missing or incorrect information to resolve discrepancies.
- Verify insurance information to ensure proper billing.
- Complete daily and weekly billing activities accurately and on time.
- Research and update billing demographic data to facilitate prompt payment from insurance providers.
- Communicate via phone with clients and patients to resolve billing defects.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10-key skills).
- Previous Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST.
Pay
$17.75–$21.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.
