Billing & Collections Supervisor

Who You Are

• You have 10+ years of billing and collections experience, primarily within midsize or large law firms
• You bring at least 3 years of experience leading or supervising billing and collections teams
• You collaborate well with attorneys, practice leaders, and finance partners
• Possess strong working knowledge of legal billing systems, ideally 3E Elite
• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with billing and AR data
• You handle confidential client and financial information with discretion
• Flexible during peak billing cycles, including evenings or weekends when needed

What You'll Do

• Lead and support billing and collections teams to ensure consistent, high-quality performance
• Oversee billing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client agreements
• Monitor receivables and unbilled time, addressing risks to cash flow proactively
• Partner with the Revenue Manager to track performance metrics and financial health
• Prepare and deliver regular billing and AR reports for senior leadership
• Work with attorneys and finance teams to resolve billing questions and disputes
• Maintain billing policies and ensure coverage during high-volume cycles
• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives

• Invoices are issued accurately, on time, and in compliance with client requirements
• AR cycle times improve while client relationships remain strong
• Leadership has clear visibility into billing and revenue performance
• Attorneys and clients receive responsive, solutions-focused support
• The billing and collections team is engaged, well-trained, and consistently meeting expectations

Pay

$160,000 – 175,000 annually, based on experience
