About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and ensuring timely payment of invoices and other obligations. We seek self-motivated and reliable candidates who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. Responsibilities

• Processes customer invoices
• Works with customers and project management to ensure accurate billing
• Applies sales tax with attention to detail
• Manages customer requests and invoice revisions
• Maintains organized records related to mail and shipping activities
• Performs additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management
• Follows established policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Maintains regular and dependable attendance to ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and on time
• Supports a professional, collaborative, and ethical work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Accounting degree preferred
• Two or more years of accounting experience
• Commercial Construction experience is preferred but not required
• Sales tax background is preferred

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
• Proficient with personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Project Management experience in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful
