Billing Associate

Our client operates within the pharmacy franchise industry, providing infusion services to patients with chronic and acute conditions. They focus on underserved and secondary markets through over 100 franchised infusion pharmacies and clinics across 35 states. Established in 1986, the company supports franchise owners through the launch, growth, and operation of their businesses.

About the Role

This position is responsible for processing home infusion medical claims accurately and timely to minimize denials, accounts receivable days, and bad debt. The Billing Associate supports the revenue cycle by ensuring compliance and proper billing practices, contributing directly to the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit accurate medical, pharmacy, and third-party vendor claims in a timely manner.
• Ensure inclusion of all revenue opportunities and submit billing to primary and secondary payers.
• Maintain ready-to-bill delivery tickets and mark unbillable tickets with appropriate status.
• Document case activities, communications, and correspondence in the designated system.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills (listening, speaking, writing).
• Proficient typing and computer skills for accurate order and ticket processing.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain clear records.
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and meet productivity and quality targets.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical intake or billing experience preferred.
• Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.

Pay

Salary range for this position is $18.92 to $20.00 per hour.
