Billing Associate
Responsibilities
- Routine and monthly billing to clients within service level agreement timelines
- Communicating with borrowers and their agents regarding quotes, drafting said quotes, and updating the internal systems regarding the process
- Communicating with lenders regarding financials and billing of these processes
- Processing incoming funds. Communicating with clients and third parties regarding these funds
- Sending incoming funds out to clients timely
- Reviewing final sale funds results, requesting the necessary checks for all parties, and sending the funds to the required parties
- Maintaining congenial relationships with business associates, borrowers, and lenders
- Providing exceptional customer service to borrowers and clients at every level of interaction, including timely status updates and follow-up on outstanding documents and/or services
- Consistently and accurately update the firm’s internal case management system, as well as all lender systems
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma. Associate’s degree or above preferred
Billing and check processing experience preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service
Able to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, lenders attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties
Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
Possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change
High-level proficiency in MS Office suite; Outlook, Teams, and especially Excel
