Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine and is part of a national cardiology platform, Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL). Together, we share the same mission to provide patients with the highest quality cardiovascular care available. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region.
A $500 sign-on bonus is available for this full-time position. The bonus will be paid no later than 30 days following your start date, provided your employment is in good standing. If you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of the sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Code and enter all patient visits, tests, etc.
- Ensure the accuracy of all patient information in the billing system.
- Ensure the timeliness of all charges.
- Verify, adjust, and correct bills to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and third-party billing requirements, rules, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Cardiology.
- Must have knowledge of different insurance.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge is required.
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus.
- Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.
