About the Role

Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and are critical in caring for our customers each day. You will receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services that best meet their needs. The knowledge you develop will prepare you for advancement opportunities and a robust career in banking at Woodforest.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Employ problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment

• Full-time position with no supervisory responsibility.
• Little to no overnight travel expected; occasional coverage of nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from your assigned branch may be required.
• Conditions include standing most of the time, may involve walking, moving, bending, stooping, or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.

Pay

$16.48 to $19.81 per hour.

• Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual based on continuous years of service:
  • Less than 1 year: Accrue at a rate of 3.07 hours per pay period (employees hired in the last four months of the year are not eligible to accrue PTO until the following calendar year).
  • 1 year: Up to 10 days (80 hours).
  • 2-3 years: Up to 12 days (96 hours).
  • 4-5 years: Up to 17 days (136 hours).
  • 6-10 years: Up to 20 days (160 hours).
  • 11-15 years: Up to 25 days (200 hours).
  • 16-19 years: Up to 30 days (240 hours).
  • 20+ years: Up to 35 days (280 hours).
