About the role
Residing Hope has been providing care and support since 1908, focusing on children and families in need. Currently, the organization offers therapeutic residential care, foster care, independent living assistance, Montessori education, and counseling services across multiple counties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the curriculum prepared by the Education Coordinator/teacher
- Administer pre-test and post-test to the minors and evaluate them
- Conduct the initial educational assessment
- Place newly admitted minors at the appropriate instructional level based on their educational background
- Complete a personalized educational plan (PEP)
- Conduct periodic evaluations of the minors and complete the progressive report
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with two years of teaching experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proof of immunizations: 2 doses of Varicella, 2 doses of MMR, 1 dose of Tdap within the past 10 years, and yearly requirement of Influenza and TB testing
