Bilingual Store Manager In Training

About the role

Rent A Center is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of retail/management experience and completion of the RAC's Store Manager Development Program.

Responsibilities

  • Set daily and weekly goals related to the store's sales activities
  • Oversight and direction of coworkers' sales activities
  • Approval of rental agreements
  • Monitor planned results for sales as measured by revenue and growth
  • Oversee direct coworkers' collection activities
  • Follow-up on accounts requiring manager interventions
  • Approve customer commitments and provide leadership and training
  • Ensure compliance with company policies
  • Manage and direct store resources
  • Protect company assets through expense management
  • Oversee and control inventory, product ordering, and pricing
  • Handle cash transactions
  • Ensure store security
  • Resolve problems and complaints quickly
  • Schedule and organize daily activities and goals
  • Staff, recruit, and hire for assigned stores
  • Maximize retention of coworkers and reduce turnover
  • Manage direct coworkers and train for exceptional customer service

Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record
  • Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications

  • Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program during training period
  • Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record

Minimum starting hourly rate of $26.00 per hour - $27.00 per hour
