Bilingual Speech Therapist/Evaluator

About the role

Seeking a bilingual Pediatric Speech Therapist/Evaluator for preschool children (CPSE) with expertise in speech and language assessments and therapy planning.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing creative individual and group therapeutic interventions.
• Administering, documenting, and evaluating speech and language assessments.
• Maintaining communication with supervisors, families, school teams, and professionals.
• Managing case documentation, attendance, billing, and scheduling.
• Collecting data on goals and reporting progress quarterly.
• Participating in initial and annual CPSE/CSE meetings, providing input and reports.
• Performing evaluations in clinic, home, or preschool settings, and developing functional goals based on IEP/IFSP.

Qualifications And Skills

• Current NYS licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with NYSED certifications (TSSLD or TSHH) and CCC-SLP.
• Minimum of one year of experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time management skills.
