Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - School Based

About the role

Ascend Rehab Services seeks bilingual, school‑based Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K–12 students in San Diego school settings. The team is clinician‑led, collaborative, and dedicated to helping students build communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support the use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license (or eligibility).
• Bilingual ability preferred; CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school‑based populations.

Pay

$80,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
