About the Role

We specialize in providing individualized care plans for pediatric patients, enabling them to see beyond their individual goals to reach their highest potential. Responsibilities

  • Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
  • Delivers skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
  • Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
  • Plans care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Current Texas SLPA licensure.
  • 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
  • Pediatrics experience.
  • Home Health experience preferred.
