About the role
Acquires and expands share of wallet for Consumer and Business Banking opportunities under $2MM in sales revenue. Achieves business results through leadership of and productive collaboration with a wide range of ecosystem partners. Responsible for proactive lead generation and appointments conducted inside and outside of branch. Delivers a differentiated client experience from acquisition through onboarding and servicing.
Responsibilities
- Proactive lead management and referral generation—leverages experience and acquired knowledge of bank products and services to grow share of wallet and attract new consumer and business households.
- Manages and grows Business Banking relationships under $2MM in sales revenue; translates client information into actionable sales strategies.
- Generates quality referrals to ecosystem partners, including PNCWM, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking, and Mortgage.
- Develops ecosystem leadership inside and outside the branch as a Center of Influence (COI); identifies and introduces clients to the best resources to meet their needs.
- Holds partners accountable for routine updates and referral follow-up.
- Differentiates the client experience through advanced conversation skills and tailored solutions aligned with clients’ holistic needs (deposits, lending, cash management, payments, investing).
- Solves client problems courteously and with urgency, escalating where necessary; acts as an advocate across PNC departments.
- Works with the branch team to identify consumer and business banking opportunities and create referrals.
- Collaborates with the Branch Manager and Business Banker to expand share of wallet with consumer and business clients.
- Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with clients and position PNC products.
- Educates clients on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
- Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive loyalty.
- Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Participates in branch daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Preferred skills: Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales.
- Preferred competencies: Banking Products, Business Acumen, Customer Experience Management, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Managing Multiple Priorities, Matrix Management, Prospecting, Selling, Understanding Customer Needs.
- Typically requires a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- No required certifications or licenses, but the position requires the ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
- Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
- Bilingual Spanish is required.
