About the role

The role involves providing clinical services to patients and families addressing psychosocial, environmental, age-specific, and cultural issues. Services include psychosocial assessments, interventions, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

  • Screens patients for service eligibility and conducts psychosocial assessments.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and resource utilization.
  • Provides consultation and advocacy services to patients and families.
  • Presents clinical findings in various settings and participates in research projects.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and lifestyles.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience with children and adolescents is desirable.

Qualifications
