Bilingual Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Cox Communications is seeking a Bilingual Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences. This role involves connecting with customers, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities based on customer needs
• Offer suggestions and solutions to enhance customer experience
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
• Avoid the store during opening and closing times
• Handle cash transactions properly
• Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos
• Support fellow sales associates as needed
• Stay updated on current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training
• May be required to work in other locations in the same geographical area

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
• Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, or management
• One year of experience in related fields (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry, etc.)
• Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to manage stock room inventory
• Ability to work in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Passion for customer service and technology

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $15,348.00.

Schedule

The role requires working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
