What You’ll Do
- Case Management: Manage personal injury case files and provide day-to-day support to two junior attorneys throughout the lifecycle of their cases.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
- File Operations: Open new case files and manage documentation to facilitate smooth legal proceedings.
- Litigation Support: Assist with litigation processes, keeping track of case deadlines and ensuring attorney preparedness.
- Organizational Efficiency: Organize case information and strategize to move cases efficiently through the legal process.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance legal operations.
- Client Intakes: Conduct thorough client intakes, providing essential updates and maintaining detailed records.
What We’re Looking For
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Legal Experience: Prior experience in a law firm setting, ideally within personal injury or case management roles.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and maintain order in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service: Strong skills in client communication and relationship-building.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and general computer applications. Experience with NEOS or other legal case management systems is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Adaptability: Quick learner with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
