Bilingual Packing Line Lead

About the role

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Bilingual Packing Line Lead to help lead one of our production packing lines. This is a hands-on working lead position. You will work alongside the team as a packer while also being responsible for the overall performance of your line, including quality, productivity, staffing, organization, and employee support.

Responsibilities

• Work on the line as a packer while leading and supporting the team
• Keep the packing line organized, productive, and running efficiently
• Assign employees and make sure everyone understands their responsibilities
• Monitor product quality and ensure packing standards are followed
• Help the team meet daily production goals
• Train and assist new employees
• Communicate instructions to both English- and Spanish-speaking employees
• Monitor staffing and communicate attendance or headcount concerns to supervisors
• Make sure the line has the materials needed to continue production
• Address minor workflow issues and escalate larger concerns to management
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ensure employees follow company safety, quality, and production procedures

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Previous packing, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
• Previous Line Lead or Team Lead experience preferred
• Must be comfortable being a working lead and performing packing duties alongside the team
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Good attention to detail and product quality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Pay

$16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.
