Supports a team of 3 physicians full-time. Starts in 1 to 2 weeks OR ASAP with immediate Benefits.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience
- 6 months to 1 year of Orthopedic experience
- Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish
- Ability to perform clinical tasks accurately and professionally
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Teamwork, communication, & patient service skills across diverse populations
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Active certification, or able to obtain after starting
- Cast Tech HIGHLY PREFERRED
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients with spine, cervical, and orthopedic issues for exam and treatment, explain procedures, support physicians during exams.
- Prepare exam/treatment rooms, sterilization, trays, supplies & equipment.
- Address questions, appointments, and communication between patients and providers.
- Cast, splint, wound care, fracture care, and suture removal. (Cast Tech preferred)
- Perform intake procedures, collect medical histories and maintain accurate documentation in EMR Centricity.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and X-rays as needed.
